Description

Faith and fate lined up the night of the 28th. Gary and Jill Ownby had settled in for the night when Gary woke up to see fire coming over the hill.Loading up the dog, two gallons of gas and his trusty boy scout knife, Gary and Jill headed down the mountain. Soon they came to a fallen tree on the power lines. Gary cut limbs off, reducing the tree's weight and allowing their cars and their friend Tessa's car to get under. Tessa, with the help of a police officer, was then able to rescue her 99-year old grandmother.
